Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tofu:
    • Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
    • Toss the tofu cubes in a bowl with cornstarch and olive oil to coat evenly.
  2. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 3 minutes.
  3. Cook the Tofu:
    • Place the tofu cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the tofu is golden and crispy.
  4. Make the Teriyaki Sauce:
    • In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
    • Stir in the cornstarch-water mixture and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
  5. Glaze the Tofu:
    • Toss the cooked tofu in the teriyaki sauce until well coated.
  6. Serve:
